The 10 Mile course will be run on the Sag Valley Trail. The entire course is wide horsetrail, with little to no technical trail running required.
The challenging part is the hills – with 670 ft of elevation, this 10 miler is ‘mountainous’ by Chicago standards.
Each turnaround point features an aid station, at these approximate mile marks: 3, 5, 8. There will be a porta-potty at mile 5.
