We are back again! The second annual F^3 Events Burgers & Beer 5K race! This time we are moving the race downtown and will be held in the Park at Lake Shore East!
Enjoy a chip timed 5k run/walk with a flat, fast course all along Chicago’s beautiful skyline! Imagine finishing with a beer garden style after-party featuring professionally catered Burgers & Goose Island 312 Urban Wheat Beer! All this just steps away from the Loop! The first & only 5k run & beer garden party on a Monday night!

Race Details:
Check-in – 5pm – 6:30pm
Race Start – 7:00pm on the River Path (across from the park)
Post Race Party Details:
-The famous Burgers & Beer Garden will be in the Park at Lakeshore East!
-All participants receive one complimentary Goose Island 312 Can of Beer and one professional catered burger with all the fixings!
-We will have a DJ on-site with plenty of entertainment
-The famous raffle and awards will be done at the post race party
Registration Information:
$40.00
Your registration fee covers all race particulars along with a high quality race shirt (gender specific), medals and all other benefits provided by our wide array of sponsors.
All sales are final and no refunds or transfers will be processed. Additionally, in the remote chance that the City of Chicago closes the Lake Front Path due to dangerous conditions, there will not be refunds nor a re-scheduled event. The after party will take place as planned.
Course Description:
-Flat, Fast Course starting on the River Path
-Course winds around under lakeshore drive onto the doc side sidewalk down to balbo (5k turnaround).
-Course loops back at Balbo on to the running path back to the start/finish on the river path

-Overall, 2nd & 3rd Place Male & Female Winners receive a pair of Saucony Shoes!
- Age Group M&F Awards: 14 & Under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+ receive a Universal Sole Gift Card!
Parking
-Plenty of parking in the garages in and around Lakeshore East with garages in the Aqua building, Universal Sole Garage (Marianos Building) and Milennium Park Garage
-It is encouraged for all folks to use public transportation as this race location is right off Lakeshore drive and off the running/bike path
